The RAL label is a reference label for the quality of candles. The RAL Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e.V. is responsible for checking that the RAL quality marks are used correctly. The candle quality mark was recognized by RAL in August 1997.
The RAL certification “quality candle marker” is aimed at consumers who value quality over the lowest price.
A RAL certified candle guarantees the consumer a candle of consistent quality. Scented candles bearing this quality mark burn properly, consistently and do not drip. The consumer can be assured that the candle will burn as long as notified on the packaging.
The certification not only guarantees a beautiful appearance for the candle, but also assures that the sizes and dimensions will be as specified and that the properties of the wick will be consistent and reliable.
A candle certified by the RAL label is guaranteed to be non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
